My SO and I are going to our hometown in March and having a early baby shower with my family. As we told him mom who lives in the same state as us she stated she’s jealous bc everyone will be giving us everything before she gets a chance to when she does our baby shower in our state. ok, so what but THEN SHE STATES “ I don’t care because i’m WINNING since ill be there for the Birth!” I didn’t think having a baby and being in a different state than my family is a GAME. For one, my SO looked at her like what the hell. for two, I don’t even want anyone in the room with me except my SO while giving birth. If we let her know that’s not what I want we both know she will be upset since she’s already upset about the early baby shower
