How long does LH surge last?

I’ve had 3 days now of positive OPKs. The last two days my test lines are darker than control. We’ve BD’d every night for the last 3 nights. I’m just wondering if we should give it a break tonight & BD tomorrow since I’m still having an LH surge? I’ve never had a surge this long?
