Council housing help

So I've got back my form and they have banded me BAND C which I don't understand I live at home with my mum and two siblings it's a 3 bed house they all have their own rooms baring me and my son live in the living room I don't get how I can be only band C ?? Any advice to get higher banded I need a place urgent it's so crowded and constantly arguing with my mum!
