Do i need the trigger shot?

Question

I am currently taking leteozole. Just started back on it in December after my 2nd miscarriage. Started this round yesterday.   I have been on both clomid and leteozole a combined total of about 10 months in the last year and half. My obgyn has never done a ultrasound or trigger shot while i have been on the medicine.  Are there many woman who only take the medicine and not get the shot?

I’ve never had the shot. 5 IUIs 4 bfps...
I ovulate on my own, so I prefer not to have it

This is my 3rd round of it completely unmonitored and no trigger...after this month my RE will be moving on to monitoring and trigger hopefully. I feel like I’ve wasted the last 3 months doing in unmonitored because we don’t even know how well it is working.

my journey with it: ive been taking letrozole since april of last year (ttc 2yrs) with one miscarriage. had an appt today on cd 12 to check follicles. my ob says to come back for another ultrasound to see if any are maturing. if so starting trigger shot for the 1st time. if no maturity she plans on upping the dose and trying trigger again and after that clomid. she says its time to add the shot since ive been on just the letrozole. i would def discuss it with ur ob. she made me feel a little more relieved about everything
