Transitioning to the crib, suggestions?

Our lo has slept In her rock n play since she came home. Now every time we lay her in her crib she wakes up screaming until you pick her up. Anyone have any suggestions?

My LO slept in her rock n play until 5 months and had a hard time transitioning to her crib as well. She wanted the closeness of the RNP. So we rolled up a towel like this (we actually did 2 and made a little nest)

And then we put the fitted sheet over it

I couldn’t believe how much of a difference this made! After about a month we started making the “nest” wider and wider until one day we just took it out completely and she didn’t even seem to notice.

I haven’t transitioned yet but a friend of mine slept with a crib sheet a few nights so it would have her scent. Or maybe a weighted sleep sack?
