Labor or not???? AHHH

Question

Just went all the way to the hospital with consistent contractions or intense mental like cramps all night and morning... and as soon as I got there they eased off. So I decided not to go in. Now when I walk I have a sharp pain in vagina. I’m so confused.  Someone, anyone... help!! Was this just Braxton Hicks or like wth is going on?

The pain is probably baby’s head engaging. You might be close mama! Hang in there. Try to stay active

That happened to me when I was in labor with my daughter. During the 45 minute drive to the hospital my contractions stopped but we decided to still head on over. Sure enough, I was in labor and had her a few hours later.

I had the same thing all night last night and this morning they were 20 minutes apart for an hour, then spread out to once every hour since. I also woke up with brown spotting that hasn't stopped all day. I'm so confused!

You might be in prelabor. Sometimes it can start and stop. Normally they say 5 minutes apart lasting for 1 minute and for an hour. But you could go in and just be checked and sent home to labor some more depending on what the hospital standards for admitting is. Maybe call your doctor and ask when you would need to go in so you can make sure. Usually contractions will get longer and stronger as labor progresses as well. It's never a mistake though to get checked unfortunately labor doesn't always follow a pattern.
