Fiancé’s mom called CPS on us. How to let it go?
Fiancé and I are both 22, been together since 16. Unplanned but we got pregnant at 17, and have grown up together. Right around the time I found out I was pregnant, his mom left and moved across the country with her new husband (their step dad), and had a falling out with all of her kids. The older sister texts her one day and tells her I’m pregnant, & the mom called CPS. They showed up at the door, asking for my boyfriend (her son), and said they got a report he impregnated a 12 year old (me). I’m still not sure why she told them I was younger than him, as we’re the same age and she knew we were in the same grade. CPS asked to see proof of my age and left. Now it’s years later, haven’t seen his mom since (though we’re in frequent contact with her), and after a year of no contact they started talking again and no one has mentioned this. I am the type where I can’t have things brushed under the rug, I need closure from this situation. She’s coming to the wedding this year to meet her granddaughter who will be almost 4 then, and to see us. I do not know how to have this conversation or just let it go, fiancé says we should let it go. Advice?
EDIT: forgot to mention when the CPS thing happened she was also posting lies about my family on her social media, and me. Think they’re deleted, but we’ve never spoke of this either
