Placental abruption?
So my first was born in February 2018. Her due date was March. She came at 37 weeks. Days prior to my water breaking I had terrible side pain that would come and go it was so bad I went to Traige to get checked out. They basically tested my urine and put the monitor on my belly and told me they didnt know why i was having pain and my cervix was bloody and sent me home. A day later my water broke during one of those pains while on my exercise ball and so I ran to the toilet...it was not clear at all it was like a very heavy period. Blood just kept coming out. When we got to labor and delivery they said yep my water broke and when I asked about the blood I was pretty much ignored. They let me sit for 30 hrs with my waters broken and bloody while my body refused to go into labor by itself. They Inserted a pill which slowly helped.. I sat in the tub and a chunk of tissue came out at one point but i didnt say anything about it because I was scared..when baby was born she wasn't breathing and was blue and had blood and placenta in her belly and after 28 hrs she was finally able to breath on her own and out of the nicu....Everyone I talk to says the bleeding and pain was strange and not normal. Currently I'm 14 weeks with baby number two and haven't had my first appointment yet and I'm just wondering if what happened last time will happen with this baby. Has this happened to anyone else?
