I got home from the hospital yesterday afternoon after giving birth to my daughter on Sunday morning. I’m a first time mum and my first night home was harder than I thought it was going to be. Harper slept no problem in the hospital, she was fine through the night, infant we had to wake her to try feeding. Now we are home the only place she would settle is lying on mine or my husbands chest 😟. I’ve been up all night with her lying on my chest sound but whenever I tried to put her in her basket she would cry! Midwife is coming today at some point but I just feel useless not being able to sleep or comfort her. I’m also having to bottle feed as breast feeding just wasn’t working for us. It’s been 1 night and I’m struggling already 😢. Did anyone else have this problem? I know it all takes time but I just don’t understand how she was fine in the hospital but not now 😴😴😴
