It’s by date, just like any other birthday. If you went by 4 weeks equaling a month, baby would be 13 months on their first birthday (52/4)

I count by the day they were born bc technically not every month has 30 days

I do both in weeks for doctors appointment or when she gets checked over, As they count in weeks. But to everyone else I used months as it’s easier.
