2nd trimester doctor appointments

Now that I’m past the first trimester and all that screening I am wonder what to expect during my monthly doctor visits? I have one next week and my husband has to travel. If they’re just going to basically check my weight and blood pressure no big deal but if they do anything significant he’d prefer me to change it so he can attend.
