Thrush? Milk mouth?

How can I tell the difference between thrush and ‘milk mouth’?

If you can wipe it out with a wet washcloth, then it is extra milk in the mouth

Thrush won’t go away. It will get thick and baby won’t want to eat. If your breast feeding you will get it on your nipples. Gentian violet from the pharmacy is what my dr used. Painted babies mouth and my nipples. It’s right purple but kills yeast in contact. You might need a few applications just because it’s hard to get in the mouth.
