Did anyone have a kidney infection during pregnancy?

I'm 11 weeks pregnant and having bad back pain. The doctor mentioned that it could be a bladder infection. If a bladder infection is left alone for too long it can turn into a kidney infection which hurts your back. Nervous 😬

Twice now I have had kidney problems this pregnancy (currently 26+2).  First time kidney stones, second time possible kidney stones and definite infection.  The pain both times was unbearable.  The antibiotics cleared up my infection.  We still don’t know if there are additional kidney stones bc we won’t do an mri while pregnant.  My advice, drink water until you don’t think you can’t anymore during the day and then drink another glass (I try to drink between 70-100 oz of water a day).  Also once you’re on the meds you should feel better.
