Finally going on my first train ride tomorrow. Bf, our son and I are going to see his parents and it's a 15 hour ride on the train. Our son is 22 months old so he is still free for another 2 months.

What I'm trying to figure out is what exactly I can bring on the trip. I need his pack n play because he doesn't sleep with anyone except on rare occasion when he's sick and wants me and I would feel better if he was contained rather then being able to run around and get into everything. And need his stroller ( umbrella stroller ) and gonna have his diaper bag full with things for the ride.

Has anyone on here rode Amtrak before and was able to bring your pack n play for free or anything. I'm so lost. I'm gonna call Amtrak in the morning ( 2:57 am right now ) and any tips to ride with a toddler. Please and thank you!
