So, I’m in a relatively “new” relationship. We’re very sexually active. It’s been 3 months of being exclusive to each other and honestly I can’t get the thought of birth control out of my mind!

I’m 20 and in all my time of being sexually active I’ve only ever used a male condom. The idea of getting the Implant has been floating around my mind a lot and I think it’s the right choice for me; after a consultation I had about a year ago (before I knew my current boyfriend).

The only question is…

Is it too early to start talking serious birth control with him?

I’m one of those who believe the cost should be split between the two partners of a couple...
