Opening a daycare?

Me and my close friend are talking about opening a daycare. A legitimate, licensed daycare and I was just wondering if anyone on here has a daycare and has any tips. Also wondering what expenses there are and if there is a way to get help, such as a food program.

Personally opened a childcare center licensed for 60! Any questions at all feel free to ask! 
Definitely look into the food program,you can get like a 1000+ refund check each month and it’s a great selling point for families. 
Look up the rules and regulations on your state website and read them 1000 times over. Print them out to keep on hand, they’re a godsend.

It all depends on your state. Each state has different regulations. In Massachusetts, it's the Department of Early Education and Care that you have to work through. 
Thank you for saying you want to be LICENSED! I've been a teacher for years and I can't believe so many parents don't know that's a thing. They assume every place is licensed and it terrifies me.
