War is never meant to be fun or nice, but for it stop existing everyone has to get along. Getting along isn't really the nature of people. It's a necessity because people are naturally conflicting.

No I understand protecting yourself and people but you wouldn’t have to if others didn’t invade and take what isn’t theirs. It’s never necessary and always wrong.

The civil war was actually about the over taxation of imported and exported goods which was fucking over the south and slavery wasn't brought into the mix until mid war and was only done so so the north could get more people to fight for them (which they used poc as a barracade to save white lives while their lives were the first gunned down). But war in general is unavoidable because there will always be someone that wants what someone else has, disagrees with their lifestyle, or blames them for all their problems (which may or may not be true).
