my husband goes to work and i’m home on maternity leave until i go back in a few months. i’m home alllllll day with my LO and when he gets home from work, i just want some time to myself. i’m not even asking for actual alone time, but not having to hold her and stuff. every time he holds her LO cries and he cant seem to calm her down. not sure if it’s LO or the fact that he just doesn’t really try to. then he just wants to hand her back to me. he also says he has more work to do(has a work laptop) and that’s his excuse for me to continue to have to take care of LO all night too.

this is creating real problems in our marriage and i just don’t know what to do.

i just feel extremely under appreciated and under supported. and when i try to talk to him about it, he says “well then you go back to work and i’ll stay home with her”. THAT’S NOT A SOLUTION.
