We are doing something called sidecar the crib. It basically gives the baby his/her own space and will help get use to the crib while still having the benefit of cosleeping.

I beg you guys to please use safe sleep practices. Rock n Plays are not safe for sleeping. Dock a tots are not safe for sleeping. Please put your baby on a firm mattress with a fitted sheet in a bassinet or crib, with nothing else. Don’t mess around with sleep safety, it is no joke. ❤️

My lo sleeps with me and has since day one. He’s almost 6 months and I plan to start to get him in a crib next week. Wish me luck  🙃

I’ve read a lot of good things about the rock n play, but also read that they weren’t actually “approved” for overnight sleeping. Well, I added one on my registry and it has a 6 hour setting, and literally says for use at night time. Wondering if the ones that weren’t approved are older models, or what? 🤔
