That “get even” thing will never worked. I got cheated on by my first love & cheated back to get revenge & it was just one big cycle of hurting each other more & more. Once you cheat you ruin the foundation of the relationship at that point IMO it’ll never be the same & not in a good way.

No I don’t think this is the right way to handle when someone cheats either break up or if you want to stay together then go to counseling or find another way to get past the cheating. By letting the other person cheat “to make it even” all you will do if cause more pain and distrust in relationship. Then it will most likely become a never ending cycle of hurting and cheating.

I guess it depends on the relationship and what each person is comfortable with. If that would bring closure, then I guess it could work, but I personally wouldn't do that in my relationship.
