Successful vbac?

Question

I had to have a c section with my first because I wouldnt dilate past 4 cm (21 hrs of labor). Is there something wrong with my cervix or did anyone else have this and deliver vaginally after?

Answer

Yep, me. I also didn’t go farther than 4 cm. My son had put his head up rather than tucking his chin. This makes the diameter of the head that fits through the pelvic much bigger, so he couldn’t drop far enough into my pelvis to dilate my cervix.  I had a VBAC 8 months ago with no complications.
