Kid Friendly Healthy Breakfast 🥣🍓

I’ve been making this awhile now for my 3 year old & she loves it so I thought I would share!!

Yummy Steel Cut Oatmeal:

1 1/2 C milk

1/2 C steel cut oats

2 TB chia seeds

1 tsp Vanilla

Pinch of salt

Spices to taste: cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg

Fruit to top: we like strawberries & blueberries

Maple syrup to top

1. In a saucepan bring milk, vanilla, salt & spices to a light boil.

2. Add steel cut oats & chia seeds. lower temp to a simmer. Cook until thickened (about 5-7 mins). STIR CONSTANTLY

3. Serve in bowl with fruit and maple syrup to top!!

This will stay in the fridge about 4-5 days and is easy to reheat in microwave with a splash of milk.

My daughter loves this for breakfast or even lunch. High in fiber, vitamins & kid friendly!! I hope your kiddos enjoy as much as mine does! ♥️😍
