Hey! So I smoked almost my whole pregnancy I stoped at week 27 just to be sure my system and baby's system had time to clear before birth. My baby is not 8 mobths old and EVERYONE says he's so chill and all his doctors are talen back at how he is real taking his first steps. He's literally so calm I'm so in love with my little canababy

I didn't want to smoke during my pregnancy, I tried to quit. Unfortunately I had severe hyperemesis, imagine vomiting literally 30+ times a day. I was unable to eat or drink and was hospitalized for over a month. Even in the hospital they could not control my vomiting and I survived on iv fluids. So to keep my job and to survive I smoked, just enough to stop vomiting so I could eat occasionally. I feel tremendous guilt over it but I was sick for so long I would have lost my job, my insurance. It was so severe it was even suggested I could terminate for this.
I'm sorry I had to but I wanted my baby more than anything in the world. I pray she is ok, even if the weed messed with her a little bit I'll never stop loving her.

Used it to help with morning sickness. Stopped smoking around 4 months. No complications. My son is 14months and healthy. Hit all his milestones early.

I personally think it’s OK to smoke but just not the majority of your pregnancy because smoking anything can cause low birth weight’s and affect the babies oxygen I have A friend who had a baby full-term that was only 6 pounds because she smoked almost the whole time my baby on the other hand was about 9 pounds

I used to smoke at least every night, and sometimes during the day. But I quit weed when I found out I was pregnant because my doctor recommended it. I already had to give up a cool vacation I was planning and alcohol and a bunch of other stuff, and I knew I’d resent myself if something went wrong and I was left questioning if it was because of weed. Its a gray area tho, and I certainly don’t judge those who continue to use it. The smoke is bad but there’s not enough research about THC to come to a conclusion about edibles. Especially for women who get horrible morning sickness, I can see how edibles could be helpful. A stressed out mama doesn’t make for a healthy pregnancy anyways! Like I said, gray area. I’ve been fortunate to have a fairly mild pregnancy thus far so it’s been pretty easy to not use weed. Although the first couple of weeks were hard and sometimes when insomnia hits I still miss it.
