Oscar Mayer beef Bologna safe to eat??

It says fully cooked right on it.. Does that mean it's safe to eat without heating up?

No... Deli meat of any kind is recommended to be heated up.  Deli meat is fully cooked but can still contain listeria.  Always heat until  steaming hot.  The chance of deli meat having listeria is low... However, can be deadly to baby, so is not worth the risk!  Enjoy, but eat heated :-)

I have the same problem. I'm not eating any more of this nasty bologna here in my house anyway. So I'm good. My OB said absolutely heat every deli meat to steaming hot or pan fry it. If you want it cold, cook it then cool it down by sitting in the firdge for a while.

I thought it was just literally DELI
Meat which has always been deemed as unsafe due
To bacteria. I thought the packaged kind was better. I've been eating the Oscar Meyer smoked turkey but I have been warming it up ( not because of risks) just to melt the cheese on my bagel.
