So i got my results back from my 3hr gtt and it was confirmed i have gd. This is my 3rd pregnancy and first time with gd. My fasting glucose level was normal, but i failed all 3 blood draws :( im so worried about this because I didnt have it with my other 2. My levels were 201 after 1 hr, 161 after 2 hrs, and 152 after 3 hrs. Normal levels are supposed to be under 180 at 1 hr, 155 after 2 hrs and 140 after 3. They are supposed to set me up with a diabetic dietian within the next week, but until then im on my own trying to figure out the correct diet to eat. Any advice to moms who have had gd and good diets to eat to control the glucose levels?! The good news is baby is measuring right where she should be, but i found out since my last appointment 2 weeks ago ive gained 6 lbs!! I just want advice from other moms who have been through this and what worked best for you!
