Co-Ed baby shower?

Question

Anyone have one or plan on having one? Did you do anything differently? I plan on having one as I want everyone to be able to celebrate. I want to add little touches to not make it all super girly. The only thing I have so far is having chocolate cigars as favors maybe.

I plan on doing coed but not really a shower - a BaByQ - nice family/friends bbq get together. No silly games (not my thing) just food, family, friends and good times to celebrate

I had a co baby shower with mine and my husbands first. It was perfect! We just had a few games that would be fun for everyone and the guys had some cigars. We even opened the gifts together. My mother in-law made us this beautiful wreath that said baby girl on it and we took pictures in front of it. It’s a wonderful idea to include the men, heck he help you make the baby!!

I’ve never been to a women-only baby shower. I’ve attended probably 30 baby showers, including my own, and they have all been co-ed. So, I’m not sure what a women-only Shower even entails 🤣 We just have fun games, food, etc. 🤷🏼‍♀️

We had one. It was twinkle twinkle little start theme but it was a very loose theme. We had it at a restaurant so I didn’t want to do a lot of decorations anyway, but we did white and gold balloons. The guys liked it because they could drink (and the ladies too) and not feel weird about being there. We had a buffet. It was super simple. We didn’t do games either and no one seemed to mind. My MIL also printed out cards that had advice for the parents and wishes for baby on it. Although I wish she hadn’t done it in green paper because I can’t read half of them.

My SIL is throwing a co-ed baby shower for my husband and I. I honestly don't know any of the details though. The main thing I had to tell her was no games. The rest I don't care about, I just hate baby shower games.
