Low Sitting Placenta
Have any other momma's gone through this or are any of y'all going through this?
I am currently almost 16 weeks pregnant and at my anatomy scan last week, my placenta was close to my cervix. Since the ultrasound was done at the connecting hospital to the clinic, the doctor wasn't notified and I guess she just went through my ultrasound today.
My next doctor's appointment (not an ultrasound I don't think) will be on the 12th, so I will ask about the ultrasound etc then.
I was wondering, momma's who showed a low sitting placenta early on, how fast did it move up? With my first daughter, I didn't get an ultrasound until 20 weeks so I don't know if I had this issue with her or not.
I am hopeful everything will be okay since it's rare for this to remain an issue, but I just wanna get some answers and be able to see the future 😂🙃. I cried when I read about the possibility it couldn't move and we would both be at risk, so I'm praying that I'm not that rare case. I wish my belly was see through so I could just see everything going on
I'm also pretty bummed about pelvic rest until I get seen again. Of course, I will stay strict about it. But I have ALWAYS had a super high sex drive. I have always had a higher sex drive than any man I have ever been with (I think it's pretty overwhelming for most) so this will be a struggle for me..also since my husband just got over tendonitis and being sick so all last week we didn't have sex 😭 I think it'll be good for a little break but I get really sad when I have a lack of sex or intimacy..is anybody else the same?
Since it's for the health of my baby, I know it won't be that bad. But I'm a hormonal, crying, mess of a pregnant woman right now and I know I will be extra on edge and my husband will have to deal with that 😂
I sense a lot of "do you still love meeee?" questions in the future lol
