Breastfeeding with implants

Has anyone been successful at this? If so, do you have any tips? 💕

I’m successfully breastfeeding with mine, it has been a struggle though! I have under the muscle and crease incision so my nipples were not touched. The problems I’ve had are low-ish supply. I say “ish” because it’s not too low to feed, but he’s 4 months old and eating 4oz at a time and I feel like I’ll need to supplement soon. I nurse him on each side and am guessing he’s taking in around 2oz from each. That guess is based on what he eats from a bottle. I also have a harder time pumping, I have sort of push on my implants to allow flow better or else it will take forever to pump! I also find it extremely painful (getting better now) for my poor nipples 😣 I’ve had my implants for 12 years and I still have nerve type pain in my nipples 😒 good luck and don’t give up!

A youtuber I follow called channon rose is successfully breastfeeding with her implants but I don't know the nature of her surgery, like if the nipple was moved or if the implant was placed behind or in front of the muscle. It might be worth calling your ob or midwife and getting their advice.
