Maybe i’m being over sensitive and impatient but todays appt did not make me feel any closer to getting that BFP. Heres my story. . . Last may got IUD removed by highly recommended obgyn, got BFP in Aug, things looked good! Even when they saw 2 sacs (possibly twins!) until my 12-15wk ultrasound where i was told i have a blighted ovum and needed to get a D&C. . .Oct 3rd got the D&C done and since then no period. . . Skip forward to end of Feb. obgyn took blood test confirmed no ovulation and prescribed povera to induce withdrawal bleeding. . . 15 days and no sign. Today i go in no blood draw, only urinalysis and ultrasound, obgyn comes in and tells me “yes you did not ovulate, (this we discussed in the last appt when he prescribed the povera!) I want you to take 2 months of BC and come back for your well woman exam in May, you should have a period by then”. I asked “even tho the povera didn’t work i’m still supposed to take the BC?” He said yes and that my uterine lining went from a 4 to a 3 and the BC will thin it out even more. I’m confused and upset now and i just don’t feel like he understands whats going on, he doesn’t remember anything about my previous appointments much less who i am, he may be a good obgyn for others but I don’t feel i’m getting the type of treatment I expect from someone who’s supposed to be helping my body get in line and do something that should come naturally. I’m frustrated and just needed to vent. . .
