Drunk driving dad

Hi ladies, so I just need to rant for a little bit.

Tonight my boyfriend and my dad had dinner alone for the first time and it went really well, they get along great and dinner was a success. But they both ended up drinking too much and my boyfriend noticed my dad was a little too drunk and probably shouldn't drive home. He was giving my boyfriend a ride home, so my bf offered to get them both an uber, but my dad refused and insisted he was fine (hes done this before with me in the car too).

On top of being drunk, there was about 2 inches of snow on the road and it was night so he really shouldn't have been driving. My boyfriend said he didn't want to offend my dad so he agreed to get in the car with him. They ended up getting home ok, but my bf said it was really scary and he was worried the entire ride home.

My bf told me all of this after he got home and I am just so mad at my dad right now because if something had happened I could have lost them both!

My bf doesn't want me to talk to my dad about it because hes worried that my dad will be angry at him for telling me but I just want to rip his head off right now!!! I cant believe my dad would put them both at risk like that.

And I cant talk to my mom about it either because she'll go crazy and my dad will know my bf told me.

I'm just so angry right now. Sorry about the long post, I just need to get this off my chest.
