Problems getting pregnant after c section?

Hey everyone! So I got pregnant with my daughter very easily, was always very regular (to the day) and never had any concerns. She is now 2.5 yrs old, and we have been ttc for over a year now with no success. I am 29, hubby 35. I had a planned c section with my daughter, everything went perfectly and  I recovered fast with no problems! Has anyone else had an experience like this? Could the c section possibly have caused a problem?

I had a C-section with my first (who we were weakly trying not to conceive). Started ttc at 14mo, conceived first month, but it was never a nothing pregnancy that implied a problem with baby’s make up, instead of my body, because they weren’t growing like they should and had a very faint heartbeat at 8 weeks (miscarried at 11). After the MC, we tried 16 months (with 3 cycles of Clomid) before we finally conceived. Other than a tiny subchorionic hemorrhage, it’s been a healthy pregnancy so far, with baby’s heart rate being 178 at 8w6d. Part of me wonder if the c-section and the mc were related to our conception problems, but there’s been nothing to suggest that. So who knows.

Could be the scar tissue  we ttc. Had surgery to remove it. Bam two months later

On my fourth pregnancy all previous were c-section. I’ve never tried getting pregnant, so I don’t know if c-sections cause problems with getting pregnant.

There are some studies and research to back up that a c-section can sometimes lead to secondary infertility. I thought that for a while after our experience. We had been trying for over a year and a half until we were referred to an RE. Turns out it was because I had low ovarian reserve. Totally unrelated to our previous emergency c-section. We have a 3 year old we conceived easily. 3 IUI’s later and I’m almost 31 weeks with a healthy baby boy! Good luck!

It can happen and cause fertility issue but it’s on the rarer side.

My son will be 6 on October 4th. I had emergency c-section when I had him. I been trying to conceive for 5 months. I been trying to not stress and blame myself or think something is wrong. Nor I dont want to give up.
