Random kinky/crinkly hairs

Omg. Me too i pull them, they dont hurt to pull out. Makes me think theyre dead. Once i get it out and pull on it they break apart... what if all of my hair turns like that, im afraid its dead even tho I have strands that are normal and just became that way at the root. Normally im very sensitive to my hair getting pulled. Is any lady in your family older and just have a few ? I was researching it once n read of a woman whose whole head turned that way over time and I got super scared
