Have anti anxiety meds helped your anxiety?

I have taken diazepam in the past and am taking  clonazepam now for anxiety/panic . Both work similarly, but I prefer diazepam to clonazepam any day.

I forgot which one I tried but it made my moods really bad like it made me mean, so I stopped taking them. 
I just try to work through my anxiety the best I can 😬

Alprazolam/ Xanax helped curb my panic attacks and PTSD. It’s not a cure-all, but definitely helped me, especially in conjunction with therapy.

I HATED anxiety meds bc they made me so damn sleepy

I took klonopin as needed for when I’d go into situations that typically cause panic attacks. It worked pretty well for me.
