Glucose test- what to eat?

I have my glucose test at 9:15 tomorrow. Did y’all fast? I’ve read different things online about what you should or should not eat.

Depending on where you live it may be different. Some places do 1 hour test and I believe you can eat prior to that. But where I am they only do 3 hour one and you have to fast for it. Call your doctor to be sure x

I didn’t have to fast for my 1 hour. I had a handful of Cheerios and some bacon.

I couldn’t fast or I’d throw up lol so I had an egg and I passed it but only by 3-4 points

If they don’t tell you to fast, don’t. They want to see how you process glucose so you should be eating the exact same that you usually do

I did the 1 hour. Was told to fast and ended up throwing up during the test

My OB said I didn’t have to fast

Just called! She said high protein foods, steel oats, no fruit because of the sugar.
