Changing OBGYN

Tasha

I’m trying to decide if I’m overreacting. A little less than a month ago, I was having some really sharp abdominal pain and I called my OB and scheduled and appointment last minute. I get to the office and they call me back after 30 minutes of waiting. Once I get back there the nurse does her usual stuff and tells me the doctor will be in. He walks in and ask me what’s wrong so I tell him about the sharp abdominal pain and he tells me it’s normal during pregnancy then says “you’re too early to be this dramatic already” and laughs and dismisses me. Flash forward to this morning at 1 am, I don’t usually eat meat and have been squeezing it in here and there because of my cravings but mean makes me extremely sick. I ate some potato skin with bacon on them last night and thought nothing of it. I wake up with the worst abdominal pain in the same spot as last time but more intense and I think it’s just constipation. I decided to drink some sprite and water and use the bathroom as often as possible. 5 am rolls around and I was woken up by vomiting before I could even step out of the bed to make it to my bathroom, I’m sweating and the fan is running and I think I’m going to fall out. My husband rushes me to the emergency room and they take me back immediately, give me nausea medicine and a little pain medication cause it an 11 at this point. I get back out the room and they send me to do a scan of my stomach because I’m still sweating and running a fever. Turns out the abdominal pain is my gallbladder and it’s possibly needs to be removed but because of how early I am it could be very dangerous to the baby. They said to change my diet and eat bland food for the remainder of it but he didn’t ignore my pain. I told him I don’t usually eat friend food or greasy food but I wanted the potato skins really bad. I had this same issue at the end of my last pregnancy 4 years ago. I also proceeded to tell him what what my OB said he told me that is very unprofessional and something could have been seriously wrong with me. Now I’m debating if I should change OB because he always ignores what I tell him and he literally walking in my room during appointments to just tell me what the ultrasound tech has said and leaves. Under one minute appointment with him, no joke. My other issue is they have told me three separate due dates and none of them are correct, I am almost two weeks further along than they told me and then I told them I thought they were off they told me they are professional and trained ultrasound technician. I tracked my period and ovulation date and I honestly know my body very well. I’m not sure if I’m overreacting. What do you all think?
