ANYONE HAVE THE NUVA RING AND SKIP PERIOD?

If you leave the nuva ring in for 4 weeks does the chance of pregnancy go up? Does it become less effective the 4th week? I’ve read that it does but I’ve also had people tell me it doesn’t.

You’re better off putting in a new one right away instead of just keeping the old one in

Well you’re not supposed to keep it in for 4 weeks just 3. If you wanted to skip you’re supposed to take it out & put a new one in. So yes it can become less effective.

If I read about NuvaRing correctly, I’ve seen where if you want to skip a period, you need to put a new ring in on that fourth week, but remember when you started that new ring. Then go from there.
