acrylic nails cost??

i’ve seen some recent post about fake nails and noticed that they’re so much more expensive in other areas! i live in western new york and it’s normally $25 for a new full set and $15 for a fill. this isn’t gel and this is without any design just regular solid color. some of the posts i’ve seen talk about $100-$200!!!! how much is a full set in your area? comment the exact amount and now much it is to get them filled each time!

My lady that I go to here in Michigan charges $65. I get a full set, coffin shaped done with gel and almost always get a few rhinestones on there and they last 4-6 weeks. I usually don’t go for a fill. She’s an hour away from where I live. I moved almost two years ago so I make the trip to see her every once in a while

I charge my clients anywhere from $40-$80. If I worked in a better area or in my own suite, $50-$100. I’d make no living if I charged $13 for a fill. Especially since I do not have my clients in and out of my chair in 20 minutes. 
People sit in my chair anywhere from 1 to 3 hours. Especially with art and sculpting nails.

The ones who are paying $100-$200 are probably going to a real nail tech and not your average chop shop. Either that or they’re getting ripped off.

I am in WNY too :) a full set of pink and white it $45 and a full is $15. Powder dip is $45 and gel is $30 where i go

I live in Philly. Depending on the location regular set starts @ 25. They’ll add on for length, shape and design lol. — I got coffin shaped nails and I did not know they charged extra for the shape! 🙄😂. I also don’t get my nails done to often

I've never heard of paying $200. 
$100 nails would be the ones with difficult techniques and jewels. You can get Swarovski Crystals and real gold flake in your nails. Also, if you get airbrushed designs or delicate hand drawn designs it typically cost $5+ per nail.

I’m in California and my nail lady charges between $35-$75 for a full set; however, I don’t know anyone that actually goes to her and pays less that $55 for a full set and $50 for a fill.
