Blood test came back abnormal? 2nd test required.

Does anyone have an experience to share of high or low HCG levels in early pregnancy?

I had a blood test done a few days ago, I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant. The doctor call me today wanting me to come in for a 2nd blood test. She didn’t say if my hcg levels were high or low just that it was early on and they wanted another test. The person who drew my blood said that all it said was that my test came back abnormal cycle. I actually have the most normal cycle ever! Exactly 28 days with a 5 day period. Always on time. I’m just dying to know if my hcg is high or low. They’re trying to determine when my first ultrasound will be.
