Getting scared

So my baby boy has been measuring pretty large since about 35+5. They estimate he could easily be 9 pounds or more if I go the full 40 weeks. Since then, I’ve been trying everything to get him to come early because my goal is to avoid induction or C-Section because I want to push him out vaginally (also my doctor didn’t even suggest any other option etc. and wouldn’t induce until 39 weeks anyways). Last week at 37 weeks I was 1cm and 50% effaced, which surprised me because this is my second, so I planned on getting my membranes swept at my 38 week appointment. I went in today though and made NO progress so the doctor wouldn’t sweep me. I’m starting to get really really scared about ending up having a C-Section because he’ll be too big. And yes I know the weight estimates can be off, but with how big my stomach is and how heavy he feels, I don’t think it’s off. I’m so so nervous and now I just want to give up 😭😭😭 I don’t want to push and push and labor just to have to get a c-section. Anyways, just had to let it out because I’ve never felt like this.
