ok i genuinely do not understand why clearblue says on the instructions not to look at the test lines. i am in my fertile window how is it looking like this and coming out low? supposed to ovulate the 11th, period started 2/24. am i ovulating?

No and clearblue doesn’t suck. Wait for the smiley. I had four days of two lines on the test, then smiley. Called to get in for IUI the next morning. Smiley again. 8w2d pregnant first try. Trust the test and listen to the instructions. The lines don’t mean anything. It’s not a pee on a stick test.

Because the test lines need to be as dark or darker and then it would show a smiley anyway :) if someone looked at them like this they might think they are ovulating or read it like a pregnancy test

You won’t get a positive until the day before you’re supposed to ovulate (as the instructions explain). If you’re “supposed to ovulate” on 3-11, you should expect a positive OPK on 3-10. Once you’ve gotten the hang of when you actually ovulate each month, don’t start testing until 4 or 5 days before. That way you’re not using so many tests, as they are pricey.

Because they dont work the same as strip tests. The lines are meaningless. And apps cant tell you when you're supposed to ovulate, they can only guess when you will. Trust an OPK over a guessing app.
