So I have 2 yr old toddler and I'm 11wks pregnant. My doc was talking to me about figuring out whether I wanted a vbac or another c section. With my toddler, he was breech the entire pregnancy, never flipped in any direction and I had my scheduled c section at 40 wks. I never got to experience any kind of contraction and i know first time mom's usually go longer than 40wks. The doctor was going over what can happen and concerns of doing a vbac. Since I never had given birth vaginally, we don't know if my uterus will be able to contract properly, if my scar will pop open, etc etc. The doc said, if I had given birth vaginally before then there wouldn't be much of a problem bc we would know that my body knows what to do. My question for you mom's whose first child was a c section, did you try vbac? Did it work out well for you and baby? Any complications? I have some time to figure out if I want to try vbac but just wanting to hear others opinions. I'm scared. What if vaginal delivery goes wrong and I end up doing emergency c section and my baby comes out hurt.
