Ovaries
So today we had our anatomy scan, and they did a scan of my anatomy as well like my cervix and ovaries and such. I’ve had previous ultrasounds done well before I got pregnant and my left ovary has always been much larger than my right but I’ve never been given a clear reason why or why it would cause me pain. Today we found it was still that way but when they pressed down on it with their wand(or whatever the tool is called) to get a good image of it, it HURT. I’ve been having pain on my lower left side for the last week or so but the nurses told me it’s probably just round ligament pain. I’m 21wks 2days and our baby boy seems to be perfectly healthy but of course the ultrasound techs aren’t doctors and couldn’t give any further information. Now I get to wait the weekend for any information from my OB office once they get the images.
Has anyone ever had experience with this? I’m trying not to panic but it’s the almost constant ache that bothers me.
