Confused if my baby is still hungry after nursing??

My baby nurses for 45 minutes and falls sleep at the boob and nurses very slowly and seems like she's just using me as a pacifier. I take her off and she seems content. 10 min later she will start crying so I thought maybe she is still hungry? I nurse her on my right breast and she is nursing so far for 20 minutes like I didn't just nurse her right before. So confused!

If she’s having about 8 diaper changes a day of pee then she is :) I’m an NICU nurse and that’s what we go off of unless we pre/post weight the babies on the boob

How old is baby, sound like clusterfeeding.

My guess is that she’s comfort nursing. Have you tried a pacifier?

She could be doing it for comfort if she is using you as a pacifier.

At 6 weeks my baby wanted more milk and my letdown is slow so he would take 45 minutes to eat and would still be hungry. That’s the age when the initial letdown is not enough for them anymore and they need more milk. You may not have a strong letdown for the second one. 
I wouldn’t listen to people here to be honest, I had the exact situation and I know that baby wasn’t getting enough. I started pumping and gave him a couple of ounces after he ate at the breast for 30min or so, just to top him off. He was finally content and would take a nice long nap. And he finally had some time to play and be active, not constantly trying to eat! 
What people need to realize is that not every woman is the same and not listening to your own intuition about your baby can cause more issues.
