Bassinet or Mini Crib??

Question

We reupped our lease before we found out I was pregnant and now it looks like we will be in our tiny 900 SQ foot apartment for the first 3 months of the babies life. Our bedroom is only 10x10, and we have a queen sized bed. 
Which do you feel would be better a bassinet or mini crib??

Highly recommend the mini crib! We have the babyletto one and we love it for in our room. It also folds up which will come in handy.

I would use a pack and play. If you don’t have room for a regular size one, Graco makes a Travel Lite Crib which is essentially a mini pack and play. That way you can use it later down the road as a pack and play once baby is mobile.

Stokke sleepi could be practical, as you can rebuild it when you get a bigger place.

Crib it lasts longer. Bassinet is only suitable for a few months, once baby can sit up or get on their hands & knees it’s no longer safe.

Our one bedroom apartment is 650 sq ft, we have a cat and a dog, our son is three weeks old, and we have a queen sized bed. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ We got a mini crib. It doesn’t take up much space and I love the one we chose because it can convert into a toddler bed as well.
However, we definitely are moving into a house once our lease is up.

Girl I’d give my arm for 900 sq ft lol. Try 565!! Looking to move soon. Literally only shimmy space around our bed. I’d do a bassinet

I would recommend a pack and play. They are great for many purposes. My sister in law also got a mini crib thinking it would be great for their baby, but it turns out their baby was big and got too big for it by 8 months.

Going to be in the same boat. Looks like we will have to rent a townhome. It is a 3 bed two and a half bath. Master will be husband and mine and baby’s. Other two is between my mother in law and grandmother in law. We are moving them with us. We have to move in May 2019. And even though we have found the PERFECT house for us. We can’t get approved for a loan :/ only option would be if we gave the money to a family member essentially who could get approved and then gave them the money to pay for it until our credit was high enough. Because we have been told by plenty that we can definitely afford it. Just our credit needs a years worth of work. Said earliest we would be able to apply is November ..... which is when I’m due ..... and our lease wouldn’t be up until end of April or May depending on when we started new lease at new place. So we’ll have 5-6 months after baby is born i this townhome. We are going to try setting up my crib from when my mom had me depending on space. But honestly will also probably use a bassinet for a while at first as well to be closer to the bed. Like I’m going to move my side table and put bassinet there.
