So embarrassing

This has happened a couple of times where my boyfriend and I would get intimate but I ended up bleeding on him! (most likely from my period just ending). It was completely embarrassing and I just don’t know what to do or if he is still attracted to me. Is this normal? What can I do to ensure this doesn’t happen again?
