Name issue

Ladies I need your help. My husband never asks for anything but told me when we first get together that he wants his boys to have his name I never thought he was really serious. Now we are having a boy and the name topic comes up and it’s he wants that name he never asks for anything. I really wanted to incorporate my dads middle name because he passed the month before we conceived. My husbands name is mister literally so the baby will be mister John Charles and then our last name. I feel like I should do it but everyone is telling me no don’t do that name but it’s our decision not what everyone else says. Anyone have advice
