Epidural or no?

So mommies how many of u had a fully natural birth? Would u say it's hard an very painful or would u prefer to have an epidural?

I had a natural birth with my first because it happened too fast to get the epidural but as soon as I delivered her I felt like a million bucks and all pain immediately went away!!! I’m hoping to go medication free again with this one

I had an epidural. I’ll have another. I struggled with labor. When I wasn’t contracting, I was vomiting. My pain was so intense it was literally making me sick. (I have a high pain tolerance, I just feel like if you can ease the pain; why not?)

I waited until 8cm to get the epidural and would highly recommend waiting as long as possible to get the epidural so labour doesn’t slow. I’m going in open minded as I did with the first, I would love to go fully natural.

No epidural with my 14 month old 6 hours of active labour and contraction in my thighs and I'm doing again no epidural with this one again. As the epidural scares me.

I had an all natural birth with my first, and had a great experience. I'm planning on the same for my second! If you decide to go that route, definitely make a plan and prepare mentally and physically. :)

I thought I wanted a natural birth with my first but the pain had me panicking. I got the epidural and it was great, but I had lingering tenderness in my spine for about 3-4 months which kind of scared me. I got an epidural with my second as well, but almost passed out after the medication started going and I hated it. I'm planning my first homebirth this time and will be going med-free if no complications arise. I feel more confident after giving birth twice now.
