Provera?

So my first obgyn put me on birth control after I told her I was trying to get pregnant the problem was my period wasn't coming and when I did get my period I wasn't ovulating many months later I stopped taking the birth control because I didn't feel like that was what I want as a matter of fact I knew that was not what I wanted but I did it because she told me that would be the only way to help regulate me out and help me get pregnant so many months later I started heavy bleeding really bad I went to the doctor and she was concerned because my uterus lining wasn't shedding and when I'm bleeding they aren't periods it was just my uterus say there was too much for lining band it was giving out and needed to release some of it so that is where she has prescribed me provera to help me get my period and ovulate properly. Guys I'm so excited I finally got a different solution to fix the only problem that was stopping me .i could understand why I was put on birth control when I was trying to get pregnant and from the way it sounds she didn't either atleast with this doctor I felt like she was really listening to me and understood what I wanted my other doctor just threw me on birth control . So what's my reason for writing this ? I want to hear from all females who either is taking provera or have had some sort of experience with it I would like to know what to expect ? Did you get pregnant after using it and how long did it take ? Also if you have some advice.thank you guys
