Convertible car seat?

Looking at the Chicco nextfit and the Britax Boulevard Clicktight... any suggestions?

I have the advocate clicktight and it’s amazing. The clicktight is great. Very secure. I cannot move it a single millimeters it’s so tight. I bought the frontier clicktight for my three year old and I love it just as much.

We have a britax marathon and we just got a boulevard for our daughter. If you have never had a clicktight before they are quite literally the easiest car seat to install. No pulling on the seat belt, moving the seat trying to get it tight. Literally you open the seat, lock and thread the seatbelt in either the rear face or forward face spot and close the seat. The seat automatically adjusts it so it’s perfectly tight and doesn’t move an inch. Attach your anchor and your done.  I can switch it and install it in less than 2 minutes and it be perfectly installed.  On top of it the boulevards harness, once tight enough makes a click so you know it’s okay. My son is 45 lbs and 41 inches and is in his marathon forward facing with still lots of room for him. We were also able to rear face until he was 40inches so that was awesome! I also love the fact that the seat is made of metal... not cheap plastic. It may be heavy as hell but, safety comes first.

I’ve never used Britax to compare but I love my Chicco Nextfit Zip! The only thing I’d say might be better on the Britax (going off memory here because I haven’t looked at them in a while) is I think the sides of the seat are higher in the Chicco. This can make it kind of tricky to get baby in and out without bumping their head if your car doesn’t have a lot of head space.

I've been happy with my Boulevard clicktight. Used it from birth to 3.5 with my oldest and now my 8 month old is in it.
