Just have to tell my story and get some advice...

I was on a mini-babymoon at 32 weeks with my hubby visiting my in-laws about 3 hours away from home. My water breaks. It took me all day to realize it was my water bc I just thought I was peeing myself. I go to the hospital and they immediately start hooking me up to IV’s to slow down/stop labor. I’m put on bed rest at the hospital. That lasted 5 days and little man came on Valentine’s Day in a hospital 3 and half hours away from home. He was taken to the NICU and we’ve been there ever since.

Little R is doing so well. We are just waiting for him to learn to eat before we can go.

My husband and I have been staying in a hotel near the hospital for a month and I’m growing tired. We spend 10-12 hours a day with him. I wake up, pump, nicu, pump, all day, go back to hotel, pump, and repeat. I’m so ready to go home and start our lives with little guy.

Anyone had a baby in NICU? I need advice on how to cope with nicu-it is? Please. Any advice is welcome.
